Below is a 3d Game Environment that I created. It is a re-creation of the Wellington Mill in Somerset, as shown in the photographs. All the textures were created from photographs I took of the area using Adobe Photoshop. CrazyBump was used to generate normal maps. The textures are tileable textures and vertex paint was used to blend these different textures. Dirt was overlayed using decals to create more realism. The Environment is created to Game specifications i.e. it uses appropriate texturing techniques, unwrapping, and the models are constructed to a precise amount of polygons to maximise optimisation while still maintaining a good amount of detail. The Wireframes on this page demonstrate this. |
